Paul Rodway, known for his legendary match reports, that often have us in fits of laughter!

Name: Paul Rodway (pictured with son, Sam)
What’s your background in rugby?
Played at school then club rugby after school – Still play masters Rugby occasionally.
When did you get involved with Brothers Sunshine Coast?
We came to the club at the start of 2019 season.
What do you love about your team?
My favourite thing about this team is the fact that a group of players who didn’t all know each other at the start of the season are now great team who work well together and thoroughly enjoy each others company. The players who have been in the side for a number of seasons have done an outstanding job of welcoming the new players. The support from all the players’ families is also great, and creates a very positive environment to play Rugby in. There’s a strong sense of camaraderie amongst the U13 players.
What’s the best thing about our club?
The best thing about the Brothers club is that it has a great family feel.
Which professional rugby team do you support?
Queensland Reds
Favourite Dessert?
Chocolate cake
Thanks for being an awesome coach, Paul!

I played growing up in New Zealand, then moved to the city and went through to colts and seniors.
When did you become involved with Brothers?
In 2016, when Mils started in Under 8’s.
What do you love about your team?
Mostly I love seeing the boys do what they do and enjoy it. I love when I see one of the boys just click and become a rugby player it’s the most rewarding thing as a coach!
What’s the best thing about our club?
It’s very family friendly and very down to earth, with a good positive vibe. The parents that I’ve been involved with so far have been unbelievable.
When you’re not coaching rugby, what do you get up to?
I play and coach a lot of OzTag, and my business Suncoast Floor Stripping keeps me busy.
Which team do you support?
The Crusaders and the All Blacks.
Favourite Dessert?
A Magnum!
Thanks for all you do for the club, Keith.

Pierre has worked with all levels of clients from the general population to professional athletes, both in performance enhancement and injury rehabilitation. He has previously worked with the the Queensland Reds Rugby Union side and with the BC Lions in the CFL (Gridiron) in Canada.
Prior to becoming a Physiotherapist Pierre had studied at UBC and attained a degree in Exercise Science. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach as well as level II Olympic weight lifting and paddling coach. Prior to his Physiotherapy career he has worked as a personal trainer and as a Consultant Conditioning Coach at the National Sports Institute of Malaysia.
What’s your rugby background?
I’ve never actually played Rugby. I come from an exercise science background and training athletes, and was asked to help out last year. I’ve been studying it ever since.
🔵 When did you become involved with Brothers?
3 years ago when Tallan decided to start playing rugby. We’d heard lots of good things about Brothers, so that’s why we came here.
🔵 What do you love about your team?
The effort put in by the kids.
🔵 What’s the best thing about our club?
The family atmosphere. Everyone was accepting straight away, you don’t have to work your way in.
🔵 When you’re not coaching, what else do you get up to?
I’m a physiotherapist at Northcoast Physiotherapy, so I fix people. We run a clinic out at Sippy Downs. Other than that, I like to work out, and keep the kids in line like any parent.
🔵 Which team do you support?
The Reds.
What’s your favourite dessert?
Baked Cheesecake. The one my Mum makes.
Thanks for all you do for Brothers, Pierre, it’s most appreciated! 🔵⚪️🔵
