Meet Coach Kelly-Ann O’Neill

Team: Under 13 Girls 7s

Coaching Experience:

1st year Rugby Coach, but more than 18 years experience coaching in the Fitness Industry, Strength and flexibility coach, Pilates coach for 10 years, Life Coach and Remedial Massage.

Playing Experience: I was a professional dancer after school, having trained all through school.

Area of Specialty: Injury prevention and rehabilitation, ZUU conditioning and mindset coaching.

Coaching highlight: Seeing the development in my own kids and being able to mentor the girls through this process: physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Meet Coach Chrisie Marino

Team: Under 15 Girls’ 7’s

Coaching Experience:

I’ve been coaching OzTag and Touch for 7 years.

Playing experience:

I’ve played representative touch football since I was 16 in both New Zealand and Australia (NSW and QLD).

Area of specialty: Microskills. Coaching backs. Motivating the team. Teaching respect for each other and the game and that you don’t have to be a superstar, you can learn all the skills you need to play the game and do well.

Coaching highlight:

Watching the evolution and growth of my teams. It doesn’t happen overnight, it takes hard work!

Thanks for bringing your enthusiasm and positive energy to our Brothers family this year Chrisie! We’ve loved watching your team of Sisters develop their rugby skills and have so much fun with you.
